Everything the cloud does, your desktop does too: job board applying, email outreach, and LinkedIn, with the option to keep your data on your own machine. The cloud app is where most people start; the desktop app is the same workspace, installed.
The desktop build is unsigned for now, so on first launch macOS may ask you to confirm the app in System Settings, Privacy and Security. The macOS button is the Apple silicon build. Intel Mac and Linux builds are here.
